A random object. A fictional story. A completely new meaning.🫖

Stories from the Archives invites visitors into a world where ordinary objects become extraordinary through imagination and storytelling. Featuring objects from the Frisco Heritage Center archives and stories written by community participants from UNT Frisco, The Writer’s Guild of Texas, and Play Frisco, the exhibition explores how narrative can transform even the most overlooked items. Visitors can also contribute their own stories and interpretations during the exhibition, helping the collection continue to grow over time.

This exhibit will be on display from June 16 through September 30 at the Frisco Heritage Center Theater. We can't wait to see you there!

Keep Wildlife Wild

Spring means more wildlife sightings across Frisco, including baby animals that may look abandoned but usually aren’t. Many mothers leave their young critters hidden during the day, returning to them later.

Here are some tips if you spot young wildlife:
Give them space.
Don’t take wild animals home.
Safely help turtles cross in the direction they’re headed.

Small actions like these help protect the wild neighbors that call our parks and prairies home.

What ways have you helped wildlife stay wild in your neighborhood?
