Meet the Team: Frank Ramirez, Trevor’s Place Coordinator

“I wanted to be part of something bigger than myself instead of just passing through.”

Frank first came to Dallas 24 Hour Club in 2012, beginning a recovery journey filled with challenges, growth, and ultimately, purpose. Today, as Trevor’s Place Coordinator, he helps create a supportive environment where Residents can rebuild their lives with dignity, accountability, and hope.

His story is a powerful reminder that recovery is possible — and that healing can lead to giving back, leadership, and community.

Mother’s Day can bring many emotions. For some, it’s a day filled with celebration and gratitude. For others, especially those in recovery, it can be a reminder of loss, distance, or relationships still healing.

Meet the Team: Darrell Colwell, Safety Officer

“I’ve been helped, and now I’m here to help others. That’s what keeps it going.”

Darrell came to The 24 in July 2024 ready for a second chance. Through hard work, community, and a commitment to recovery, he rebuilt his life one day at a time. Today, he serves as a Safety Officer, helping create the same safe, supportive environment that once welcomed him in.

His journey is a powerful reminder that recovery is possible and that second chances can lead to purpose and leadership.
