The Scholastic Book Fair is coming!! March 20-27th

Hats off to Ms. Chante Stearn our Cafeteria Manager and her ladies who were ready to celebrate reading and Dr. Seuss!

Hip, Hip Hooray! It's Dr. Seuss Day! Thanks to the United Way and Texas Instruments for organizing reading volunteers and donating books for each class. Special thanks to our partners at Lone Star Credit Union for coming to read!

Our peach tree is blooming and so is our garden with two new grants! $5000 from State Farm and a Whole Kids grant for $2000. Congrats to our Promise of Peace Garden and Ms. Dry!

We really enjoyed having Farahana Surya Namaskar, the author of Doing and Being, here at Bayles to visit with our K-2 students!
They loved meeting an author and several have said Doing and Being is their new favorite book. We were especially lucky to have an author who focuses on social and emotional learning which we practice here at Bayles. Farahana even donated fifteen copies of her books to our school! Thank you Ms. Namaskar!!
