Some voters are pushing back on lawmakers' efforts to overturn citizen ballot initiatives Some state lawmakers are engaged in a tug-of-war for power with the people who elected them. In several states, lawmakers want to undo voter-approved ballot initiatives or make it harder to pass constitutional amendments.

AMT has a long list of petition victories in the Dakotas. Fun Fact: South Dakota was the first state in the nation to allow Citizen Led Ballot Initiatives. It would be a shame if they stepped away from that legacy now.
