DFW Veterans,
Attached is an invitation to join a group of dedicated veterans for their upcoming meeting on September 22nd at the CR Smith Museum. The organization “100 Vets Who Give A Damn” was started by a group of current and retired AA veterans with a mission to support military-related nonprofit organizations. While 100 Vets was created by veterans, you don’t have to have served in the military to attend the evening or be a part of the organization.
AA’s Military and Veterans Initiatives is a long-time sponsor of this great group of patriots and we’re proud to sponsor Army Capt. (Ret.) Florent Groberg, one of 65 living Recipients of the Medal of Honor, as the guest speaker for the evening.
Here are details for the evening:
Location: CR Smith Museum at 4601 Hwy. 360 in Ft. Worth (on the Skyview campus)
Date: September 22nd, 2022
Time: Snacks and cocktails from 1800-1900. Presentations and guest speaker from 1900-2045
Attire: Casual
Guest speaker bio: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Florent_Groberg
Questions: Contact Jay Pellicone (CC’d) at [email protected]
Please RSVP at www.100vetswhogiveadamndfw.com/next-meeting and let Jay or I know if you have any questions.
Hope to see you there.

Another great meeting today with Alan Mesches as our guest speaker to bring us the insights into his new biography of our very own LtGen Carey! It’s going to be a great book and I for one can’t wait until it comes out in early 2023.
Ken Watterson reviewed over 7,000 dollars from Brandi and the American Legion and Dennis from the Marine Corps League.
come join us next month for a great get together of brothers…
