Richardson Reads yesterday was fantastic! We got the opportunity to bus 36 students to Pearce HS and enjoy a fantastic presentation from author Kate Messner. The real treat was seeing how many kids were reading their copy on the way back to school. All of the sweet kiddos got a copy of her latest book along with a cookie. I was so excited that one of our students asked a question about the writing process that sparked a wonderful response. Inspired!

Summer is about taking a break, but teachers also get to attend professional development without taking days off. I attended a session at the Holocaust and Human Rights Museum to get the chance to chat with Alan Gratz. Such a fantastic opportunity!

I was an exchange student in high school with EF. I love their programs. Start planning for summer 2027!
