We were back at the Dallas Zoo for what used to be an annual OCLC tradition before COVID. Loved getting to enjoy this cherished Oak Cliff gem as a club again!!

Today we honored Dallas County Commissioner Dr . Elba Garcia with the 2025 Oak Cliff Lions Club Bill Melton Humanitarian Award, which was founded in 1978 by its namesake Past District Governor and Past President Lion Bill Melton who also served as Dallas County Treasurer. Many dignitaries including past recipients and visitors were present to honor Dr. Garcia who also has been a member of the club for over 20 years.
