Have you heard? West Valley Hospital is expanding! This $75 Million project will triple the size of the emergency room and make necessary upgrades to the hospital to serve Dallas and all of Polk County into the future! We are excited to see Salem Health continue these investments in our community!

If you are planning to visit the hospital, please drive slowly around the site and pay attention to the new signage indicating where entrances have moved to.

In 2026, a local couple purchased this property with the plans of moving the main office of their business to Dallas. Because of the City’s Urban Renewal Grant Program, they were able to preserve this historic home by replacing the worn out roof and improving the sewer system. Now, this new business will be able to grow in Dallas and hire local residents!
