We want to take a moment to recognize Jenny Forsyth and Elizabeth, the incredible administrative professionals who are truly the backbone of our building. From their separate offices, they orchestrate the constant rhythm of our school—managing the daily stream of students, parents, vendors, and community partners with calm, precision, and care. Their work goes far beyond the front desk; each of them juggles multiple roles while coordinating student movement not only within NHEC but across the entire district. Their ability to keep everything running smoothly is a testament to their skill and dedication. When they're not here, their absence is deeply felt—a reminder of just how essential and impactful they are to all of us. Thank you, Jenny and Elizabeth, for everything you do!

NHEC will be closed on Friday January 10th due to inclement weather. Stay warm and safe!
Dear PCSD Community,
The National Weather Service is forecasting inclement weather likely to begin early Friday morning that will impact the Paulding County area. The forecast calls for the possible accumulation of several inches of frozen precipitation (which is likely to be an icy mixture of snow, sleet and freezing rain), along with freezing temperatures and winds.
To ensure the safety of our students and staff, all Paulding County schools and district offices WILL BE CLOSED on Friday, January 10th. This is NOT a Digital Learning Day (DLD).
All instruction and after-school programs have been cancelled, including athletic events scheduled for Saturday, January 11th, and students and staff should remain home. Maintenance staff should contact their supervisor for direction. We will update you regarding school operations for Monday, January 13th, when conditions become known. Please stay safe and warm!
