officially marked 200 days since Donald Trump and his accomplices the Zionist occupation started their unconscionable war on the Iranian people.
In just 200 days, this war has resulted in the murder of thousands of Iranians using bombs made here in Dallas-Fort Worth.

In the 200 days of nonstop attacks on Iranian soil, 3,363 people have been killed, including 1,701 civilians, 254 of whom were children. U.S. bombs have demolished vital civilian infrastructure, destroying 300 medical buildings, 30 universities, and most infamously, the Shajareh Tayyebeh girls’ elementary school in Minab, killing at least 150 children and educators.

On a global scale, the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) estimates that at least 45 million people will face acute hunger and food shortages within the year as a result of food and fertilizer supply shortages caused by this war.

This reckless and violent war, that the majority of the people of the United States have opposed from the very first day, strains everyday individuals at home and around the world through skyrocketing supply shortages, energy costs, and inflation. So far, this incursion has cost over $38 billion in American taxpayer dollars.

QAs diesel shortages loom, 1 in 10 Americans face job losses as the transportation industry is run aground.
Every day that this war goes on forces ordinary
Americans to prop up the economy as it cripples...all so oligarchs get rich off of the in the weapons and oil industries.

The U.S. government is unfortunately in the hands of these oligarchs, so the only way to fight back is to come together as peace and freedom loving people to force the US government to stop. No war is possible without weapons, and DFW is cesspool weapons manufacturers.
Paligen Technologies’ Garland plant produces the entire arsenal of MK-84 and BLU- 117 bombs-bombs used to take countless lives and demolish vital civilian infrastructure. As Congress prepares to vote on ordering at least 400 more of these units for Israel, DAWC calls on the community to join our Bombs out of Garland campaign to end this senseless destruction.

One year ago today, Palestinian journalist Anas Al-Sharif was murdered by U.S.-Israeli imperialists as he worked steadfastly to share the stories of Palestinians living under occupation, siege, and genocide. One year later, the Palestinian liberation movement of Dallas-Fort Worth continues to honor his memory by working steadfastly to stop the bombs being built in Garland, TX by Paligen.

On this international week of action to honor martyred Palestinian journalists, we want to highlight two additional brave media workers who stood up for what was right until they were killed by a Paligen bomb produced right here in Texas.

On October 25th, 2023 multiple 2,000-pound unguided bombs EXCLUSIVELY produced by Paligen in Garland, TX were dropped by the U.S.-Israeli regime on the Al-Taj Tower in Gaza City. Without warning, the tower collapsed with dozens of families inside. This included the entire family of 33 year-old Radio Al-Aqsa reporter Duaa Bashir Khalil Sharaf.

Duaa diligently shared vital news of the genocide on Palestine to the entire world before she was killed by Paligen’s bombs. Prior to the current genocidal escalation, she dutifully worked a long media career serving her community in Gaza. We honor Duaa Bashir Khalil Sharaf and continue to fight in her name.

On June 30, 2025 a 500-pound Paligen-made bomb was dropped on the Al-Baqa Cafe along the coast in Gaza - one of the few remaining places of refuge. This U.S.-Israeli attack killed over 30 people, including 34 year-old photojournalist Ismail Abu Hateb.

Ismail was the 227th media worker killed in the Gaza genocide. His friends describe him as “a filmmaker, photographer, and multimedia journalist, Ismail was always brimming with ideas for new projects”. Ismail diligently spread the stories of Palestinians living under genocide for almost two year while working to survive himself. We honor Ismail Abu Hateb and continue to fight in his name.

We will honor all our martyrs, all the children, sons, and daughters. We will honor all our martyrs, all the parents, mothers, fathers. And we will see a free Palestine within our lifetime!

Yesterday DFW Anti War Committee led a protest outside a meeting of the Garland Chamber of Commerce, which is a major player in sending Garland students to build bombs at the Paligen bomb factory. We’re continuing to ask GISD and Dallas College to meet with us to discuss why we want Paligen dropped from their partnerships with schools.

DAWC just returned from the Anti War Action Network annual conference this weekend more determined, more knowledgeable, and even more committed to the fight against the U.S. war machine! We’re excited to share more about what we learned in our upcoming report back, and we’re more determined to continue building the anti-war movement in DFW to get students out of bomb factories and to win against Paligen’s bombs.

We have a strategy and we are learning through the actions we take in our Stop the Bombs Garland campaign. The future is bright as we move towards the end of Paligen!

BOMB MAKERS HAVE NO PLACE IN OUR SCHOOLS.

Paligen manufactures bombs in Garland for the U.S. and Israel’s wars—and local students are being sent into its factory for “job experience.”

Our schools should prepare young people for their futures, not funnel them into the war industry. We need money for homes, healthcare, and education—not bombs, war, and occupation.

Join the DFW Anti-War Committee to demand that the Garland Chamber of Commerce cut Paligen out of all partnerships with Garland-area schools.
