Send DFW Anti-War Voices to National Conference!
The DFW Anti-War Committee and our partners here in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas are working to raise funds to attend the annual Anti War Action Network Conference held in Chicago this July.
We are looking to raise enough funds to rent a van and cover the conference enrollment fees - a donation of $20 helps pay for a person’s lunch ticket and a donation of $50 pays for someone to attend the conference. Every dollar will help us reach our goal to make sure DFW is represented on the national stage!
Join us Sunday, July 26th (location and time TBA) for an in-person and virtual report back where we will share all the information gained during this conference with our wider organizing community. Thanks for your support in making this happen!

Rally at Dallas College and demand that Paul Mayer and their Board of Trustees end their partnership with Paligen Technologies via the FAME program!
🗓️ Tuesday, June 2nd
⏰ 4:00 PM
📍 1601 Botham Jean Blvd.
Paul Mayer and the Dallas College Board of Trustees bring Garland-area students into the Paligen 💣 factory for “on the job training” through its partnership with the FAME program. This factory is the sole manufacturer of the shells for the MK-80 series bombs, which are the majority of bombs used to take countless lives of other students and destroy educational institutions around the globe by the U.S. and its proxies.
Paul Mayer and the Dallas College Board of Trustees have the power to kick Paligen out of FAME. We demand that they stop partnering with this company complicit in genocide and documented war crimes. Let Paul Mayer know your thoughts on students being brought into a 💣 factory; sign our petition today at tinyurl.com/nofamepaligen (link in bio).

No Students in Bomb Factories! Join us Tuesday, May 12th at 4pm for a rally and press conference outside of the Dallas College board meeting in downtown Dallas (1601 Botham Jean Blvd.) to say no to their partnership with the Paligen bomb factory through the FAME program. We are calling on Paul Mayer and the Dallas College Board of Trustees to cut Paligen from FAME!
Through this partnership, Garland-area students are brought into a bomb factory for “on the job experience” as they help build the bombs used to kill other students and destroy educational institutions. These bombs have already been widely used in Palestine, Iran, Lebanon, Yemen, and many more countries by the U.S. and its proxies.

The DFW Anti-War Committee strongly condemns the senseless and brutal massacre of 19 people by the Armed Forces of the Philippines on April 19th in Toboso, Negros Occidental. We extend our deepest condolences and solidarity to the communities impacted and to the International Coalition for Human Rights in the Philippines - US for the tragic loss of Lyle Prijoles.
Lyle Prijoles helped to support the formation of the Dallas Committee for Human Rights in the Philippines (DCHRP), which in turn helped to build what would become the DFW Anti-War Committee. The guidance and leadership of Lyle Prijoles contributed to the growth of the anti-war movement in Dallas-Fort Worth during a transformative period of community organizing in the wake of the murders of George Floyd and Shireen Abu Akleh in 2020 and 2022.
This massacre that took the lives of 19 people and displaced over 650 people from their land is a part of a larger pattern of violent attacks on the people of the Philippines, with many of the weapons provided by the United States. Surrounding this attack is the annual Balikatan “war games” exercises where the U.S. and its imperialist proxies, including the Israeli Occupation Forces, practice an invasion of China in the lands and waters of Filipino communities.
The United States has sent billions of dollars of “military aid” to the Philippines to be used in the Duterte-Marcos Jr. War on the Poor, which includes Mk-82 bombs made by Paligen (formerly REPKON) in Garland, TX. We are engaged in an active Stop the Bombs Garland campaign to cut off one flow of bombs being used in the Philippines, Palestine, Iran, Yemen, and many other countries impacted by U.S. warmongering.
Sign our petition at tinyurl.com/NoFamePaligen to get the Paligen bomb factory kicked out of the FAME program partnership with Garland-area schools. Money for schools and education, not for bombs and occupation!
