2. Texas produces 2-3 million pounds of farmed shrimp each year

3. Oyster farming became legal in Texas in 2019

4. The US seafood industry adds over $1.5 billion to the economy per year

happy national women’s day!!

On this National Women’s Day, we celebrate the strength, passion, and resilience of women in agriculture. Every seed we plant, every challenge we overcome, and every harvest we celebrate is a testament to the power of women who are shaping the future of farming. We are the heartbeat of the land, the stewards of growth, and the trailblazers paving the way for the next generation. To my fellow women in ag, you are inspiring to all, continue pushing and never stop fighting for your seat at the table💗

In order to catch Facebook up with everything that’s been happening on my Instagram:

In January 17th I had the privilege of being a special guest on the Children’s Health Hospital Good Morning Childrens show. I was able to teach about milk production and where their milk comes from. It was so amazing getting to educate youth on agriculture and they all were so excited! I hope the future hold’s experiences as good as this one!

Huge shoutout to the Rio Vista FFA chapter officer team, Mr. Mark Whitfil, Stephanie Clover, and the hosts of the Morning Show, Jill and Shawn!
