While the current focus on globalization is on how its growing reality will affect the world economically,
few are discussing how else it will continue to effect the global culture of humanity: It will continue to
affect the arts, the sciences, the spirituality, and the very ecology of our planet. Today we are at a point between countries, religions and cultures where we will either bump into each
other, walk over each other, or instead we can choose to collaborate with each other consciously
and evolve humanity. If we allow ourselves to grow randomly, we will invite more misunderstanding, more war, and less
innovation. But if we can choose to collaborate responsibly, and thereby become the conscious cultural
creators of humanity's future, that future is limitless! Therefore, it is the purpose of the Memnosyne Institute to aid the people of the world towards not only
becoming conscious of how they are empowered to evolve mankind but also to provide a means for
them to act upon the discovery of their common humanity via a respectful, peaceful, interactive
collaboration in seven main areas of knowledge. Interfaith Inquiry/Initiatives,
2.) Environment/Science/ Economics/Technology, 3.) Health/Medicine, 4.) Indigenous Cultures,
5.) Global & Local Outreach, 6.) Art and 7.) Spirituality. Through both our global programs and our campuses we are attempting to empower diverse people of
the world to handel the challenges of globalization by consciously encourage an evolution for
themselves and for future generations. In the past this has included things such as negotiating the first
treaty in 300 years between Hopi and Navajo Nations to creating our FoodSource program that has saved
$55M worth of food to date to interfaith initiatives t developing an AI “Vital Signs Monitor” to empower
communities to evaluate themselves in relation to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

It was a true privilege to learn more about The Memnosyne Institute's Asia Chapter's outreach work led by Rev. Hiromi Yano. In past years the chapter has participated in interfaith work including interfaith collaboration in response to the Tsunami, (where they brought people of diverse faiths to work together to use the traditional Japanese tea ceremony as a means to help victims of the tsunami move through shock so they could begin tackling what they needed to do, to in more recent years, working on reconciliation between South Korea and Japan.

In 2027 Rev. Hiromi Yano will lead The Memnosyne Asia Chapter not only to beginning their outreach to the Ainu, (the original, indigenous people of Japan), but will also be participating in an organic/educational public park envisioned by the mayor of Kameoka, Takahiro Katsuragawa, who after discovering there was an endangered fish on the land originally set aside for a sports stadium, moved the location of the stadium and designated the previous land as an "organic park".

The Memnosyne Institute's Asia Chapter will be funding the portion of the park growing organic rice that will in turn be donated to the hungry. We are deeply grateful to Rev. Hiromi Yano and to the rest of the Oomoto Shinto priests who have continued to volunteer to make this chapter a source of ongoing collaboration between them and the diverse community they share.

ITV News Interview with David Solomons, President of The Memnosyne UK Chapter and Mary Ann Thompson-Frenk, Co-Founder/President of The Memnosyne Institute: Opening of Food Hub for Wales in Merthyr Tydfil aimed at extending the FoodSourceUSA program into the UK via The Memnosyne UK Chapter's new FoodSourceUK program offering a food hub to serve the active nonprofits - both homeless shelters and food pantries - who are lacking a food hub to serve the area. Many thanks to Sky Andrew, founder of Planet Ping, for bringing the wonderful community of Merthyr Tydfil to The Memnosyne Institute's attention as the ideal location to test out the first such food hub in the UK! HUGE gratitude as well to Dana Amma Day, for her continued leadership and to the entire volunteering community in the UK, along with The Memnosyne UK Chapter's board and advisors, including Lord Andrew Stone, Baroness Sandip Verma, Andrew Thornton, Kidd Waya, Ne Lwin, and so many, many more! Gratitude too to our late Advisory Board Member for The Memnosyne Institute, Lawrence Bloom, who first asked us to bring the FoodSource program begun by Rev. Dr. Todd Collier to the UK where 7.5 million people are experiencing food insecurity with 11% of the population. In Wales. We hope this is just the beginning!

Many thanks to ITV News for covering The Memnosyne UK Chapter's FoodSourceUK program!

To support our endeavor or if you represent a homeless shelter, food pantry or are seeking to be a participating donor to the Wales food hub, please contact Dana Amma Day in the UK or Isabell Welcher Rossignol in the USA. Both The Memnosyne Institute and our Memnosyne UK Chapter have nonprofit status in their respective countries.

Huge gratitude to ITV News for covering the first Memnosyne UK Chapter's FoodSourceUK food hub!

Merthyr Tydfil, was brought to our attention by Planet Ping founder, Sky Andrew, who alerted us to the community's non-profits' need for a central place to receive larger food donations which can then be shared among existing nonprofits in the area, helping to address the significantly higher rate of hunger in the area. It is The Memnosyne UK Chapter's hope that this will be the first of future hubs across the UK.

Many thanks to ITV News' Katya Fowler, for her covering the hard work of The Memnosyne UK Chapter team!

2026 UPDATE of The Memnosyne Institute's Making our Make on Healthcare Disparity"Program

In 2026, The Memnosyne Institute has allocated $10k to the "Making our Mark on Healthcare Disparity" initiative lead by Dr. Rene Hymel.

While this is allowing Dr. Hymel to continue his outreach into Louisiana based communities, it is not enough for him to support the work of volunteer doctors he has trained who are ready and willing to replicate his badly needed outreach in other areas. Add to that, the current administrations massive budget cuts to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the termination of major, long-term studies such a s multi-decade diabetes study tracking patients led by Columbia University and the recent administration's cuts to diabetes centered biomedical research, and Dr. Hymel's work is even more timely and necessary to educate populations on reducing their chances for developing this debilitating disease.

Additional funds would enable Dr. Rene Hymel's team to expand educational outreach based on past proven results where his community based strategy has reduced the number of people losing limbs due to a lack of knowledge of what leads to diabetes.

Please consider donating towards this badly needed program's expansion and contact Isabell Welcher Rossignol if you have any questions.
