Graduated from Yale in 1968 and Harvard in 1975. Entered into oil businesses. Married Laura Welch in 1977, ran unsuccessfully for House of Representatives, then defeated Ann Richards in 1994 in Texas gubernatorial election. Was elected President of the U. President who was the son of a former U. President. Upon retirement from that office, moved to Dallas, took up painting, spend weekends at ranch in Crawford, and enjoying family including new granddaughter.  ...
