She also served as a Dallas County Assistant District Attorney advocating for victims of crime and the State of Texas in various trial and appellate courts. Judge Rosales proudly represented our country abroad as a Human Rights Advisor for the United States Department of State – Western Hemisphere Programs during President Barack Obama’s presidency. As a human rights advisor for the US State Department, Judge Paula trained prosecutors, state officials and law enforcement investigating and prosecuting human rights violations. Judge Rosales is committed to mentoring the next generation of lawyers, she took on five summer judicial interns in 2019 and three judicial interns during the Covid-19 Pandemic 2020 Summer, all via Zoom. She looks forward to receiving a new class of interns in 2021.
