THE PUMPKIN PATROL CHRONICLES 🎃🚔
DAY THREE — 1400 HOURS
“JUST THE CLAWS, MA’AM.”
The following is the official report of the Pumpkin Patrol,
Damariscotta Police Department.
The date: Today.
The time: 1400 hours.
The location: Main Street, Damariscotta, Maine.
The assignment: Disrupt an alleged operation involving Pumpkin Head and his gang of Halloween treat smugglers.
Following yesterday’s investigation, members of the Pumpkin Patrol Special Tactical Unit continued efforts to round up the remaining members of this suspicious squash syndicate.
One suspect, identified as LENNY CRABITZ, was located at King Eider’s Pub on Main Street.
Crabitz, a known associate of Pumpkin Head, was reportedly enjoying himself when officers arrived. Upon being given lawful orders to surrender, the suspect initially refused to cooperate.
After a brief standoff, Crabitz emerged with his claws raised.
Witnesses described his attitude as “crabby.”
Officers attempted to take Crabitz into custody, but the suspect resisted arrest and demonstrated an alarming unwillingness to leave peacefully.
The tactical team then deployed a specialized, locally approved compliance technique involving butter and garlic sauce.
The results were immediate.
Crabitz was subdued and taken into custody without further incident. He is currently being held in a cooking pot pending a bail hearing and a determination of whether he should be charged with conspiracy to commit seasonal seafood mischief.
Authorities are also investigating possible connections between Crabitz, Pumpkin Head, and a larger network of suspicious gourds operating throughout town.
CASE STATUS: Technically under investigation.
PUBLIC SAFETY NOTICE: Residents are reminded to remain vigilant. If you observe suspicious squash, unusual pumpkin activity, or crustaceans loitering with intent, please notify the Pumpkin Patrol immediately.
Further updates to follow…
