John T Baker Middle School PTA

10/18/2026

Parents, this one’s for your Bulldog! 📣🐾

Does your child have ideas for Baker? We want to hear them! Baker PTSA is looking for student representatives to bring their perspectives, share ideas, and help strengthen our school community.

It’s a chance to:
💙 Build leadership and advocacy skills
❤️ Represent fellow students
💙 Connect students, families, and the PTSA
❤️ Earn SSL hours for participation

Meetings take place several times a year, with in-person and Zoom options.

Share this post with your Baker student and ask: “Would you like to give this a try?” They don’t have to be the loudest person in the room to have something valuable to say.

Their voice belongs in the conversation. Let’s help them use it! 🐾

❤️💙🐾 WHAT A NIGHT, BULLDOGS! 🍟🎉

A HUGE thank you to our amazing Baker families, students, friends, and the Damascus community for showing up and showing out at McTeacher’s Night! 🥰

But the biggest shoutout goes to our INCREDIBLE Baker teachers and staff, who were the true SUPERSTARS of the evening! 🌟❤️

After an already busy school day, you gave even more of your time, energy, and enthusiasm to support our PTSA. You worked hard, served up smiles, and made the evening so special. We truly couldn’t have done it without you! ❤️💙

For our students, it was a wonderful opportunity to see their favorite teachers and staff outside the classroom, catch up with friends outside of school, and simply enjoy being together. Those moments of connection are what make our Bulldog community so special! 🥹🐾

And a special thank you to our local McDonald’s for partnering with us to make it all possible!

PTA Meeting Update!!

📳 8th Grade Committee meeting - 6pm, Zoom only (call information can be found in Paw Prints)

📵 General meeting - cancelled.

06/05/2026

We are still in desperate need of a treasurer for next school. We have great support lined up for anyone willing to step up!

Lack of a volunteer will force a closure of the PTA ,which would be a HUGE loss for our students & our staff.

Good morning Damascus Cluster!!

We need your help! Without parent volunteers the John T Baker Middle School PTA will end and cease to exist! We can’t let that happen!!

We still need a Treasurer and 8th Grade Committee Chair. Please email [email protected] if you can help.

Why does this matter you ask? Our middle schoolers need you!! While you may not see it, PTAs significantly support the student experience. Without the PTA, there will be no more: PTA sponsored events for the students, school dances, fundraising for 8th grade end of year activities and t-shirts - and so much more!

Please volunteer today!
