Danby MT-Tabor Vol Fire Department OFFICIAL DANBY MT-TABOR VOL FIRE DEPT PAGE The Danby-Mt. Tabor Voluntary Fire Company was formed on July 3, 1935 by (16) charter members.

The first fire truck was housed at Lucy Nichols barn. In 1937 a firehouse was constructed at the bottom of Burroughs Hill. April 5, 1977 a 99 year lease was signed by June Greene to allow construction of the Four Corners Fire Station. A one bay garage was built on this site,

April of 1978 the Village Firehouse was constructed on North Main St. Charter Members are listed on the side wall at the Village firehouse.

The Danby Mt-Tabor Fire Dept would like to give a huge shout out to the Dept Auxiliary members and everyone who came out to help and support them on their delicious chicken and biscuit dinner.

Thank you to everyone who donated desserts to help make this successful. Also, stay tuned for the next dinner event.
