Join us for a free and engaging community screening of the documentary “Unless Something Goes Terribly Wrong,” presented in partnership with the South Essex Sewer District (SESD). Whether you’re curious about how our wastewater system works or just enjoy a great story, this film offers an entertaining and eye‑opening look at the people who keep these essential systems running. While the film takes place in Maine, the challenges it highlights are very similar to what our own region experiences.

The documentary follows a year in the life of a hardworking, funny, and tight‑knit team as they tackle aging infrastructure, growing demands, and new threats like PFAS. It’s both informative and unexpectedly heartwarming, showing the real‑life problem‑solvers behind a system we rely on every day. Watch the trailer at: https://www.cardboardseagull.com/

This screening is free, and we invite everyone to attend. To help us plan, please use the pre‑registration form to let us know you’re coming. After the film, stick around for a Q&A session where you can ask questions and learn more about our community’s wastewater systems.

Pre Register at https://www.danversma.gov/FormCenter/Public-Works-10/Movie-Screening-PreRegistration-Form-122. We hope you’ll join us for a fun and insightful evening!
