The Boone County Health Department is committed to ensuring that all residents of Boone County live in an environment that is safe, free from communicable disease and has clean water. Our services include: Breast and Cervical Cancer Screenings, Community Education, Environmental, Epidemiology, Family Planning, HIV/AIDS, Hypertension, Immunization/Flu, Right From the Start, Sexually Transmitted Disease, Threat Preparedness, Tuberculosis, and WIC.

No nursing services this morning at the Boone County Health Department as our nurses will be out in the county giving vaccines today. Nursing services will resume this afternoon and don't forget we are having a vaccine drive-thru clinic from 3pm-5pm here at the back parking lot of the Health Department today. Thank you!

This Thursday, October 1, 2026 - Boone County will participate in Save A Life Day. This is a list of locations around the county where you can pick up FREE Naloxone (Narcan) & get trained on how to use it if needed! Times/locations are subject to change. If we are able, mobile Narcan distribution will be available in some areas.
