At Discovery Counseling Center, we provide counseling for children, teens, adults, and families, along with free support groups. Our sliding fee structure adjusts counseling fees based on financial circumstances, helping make care more accessible to members of our community.

💙 Young people need adults who will listen.

Mental health conversations with kids and teens don’t always need to be big conversations.

Try asking:

💬 “How have things been feeling lately?”
💬 “What’s been the hardest part of your week?”
💬 “Is there anything you wish I understood better?”

Then give them room to answer.

Listening without immediately trying to fix everything can help create a space where young people feel comfortable talking about their mental health.
