CLOSURE UPDATE - ISAIAS: The City of Daphne Administration & Operations will be closed Friday, October 9, 2026. This includes Daphne City Hall, Daphne Public Library, Daphne Senior Center, Daphne Civic Center, Daphne Animal Shelter and all other city departments.

PLEASE NOTE: All Friday garbage and yard debris routes will run as scheduled on Friday, beginning at 4:00 AM. Please have garbage carts out for pick-up by midnight Thursday, October 8. Please then remember to return your garbage cart to a secure location, away from high winds.

The City of Daphne Parks & Recreation and Public Works will be closing all parks and bay access points effective the following times:
• BAY ACCESS POINTS & SPORTS COMPLEXES - will be closed effective Thursday, October 8, 2026 at 4:00 PM
• PASSIVE PARKS - will be closed effective Friday, October 9, 2026 8:00 AM

WEATHER UPDATE – ISAIAS: The City of Daphne continues to closely monitor Hurricane Isaias and its potential impacts to the Jubilee City and surrounding areas. Our team is actively preparing personnel, equipment, and resources to ensure we are able to respond safely and efficiently if need be.

For any Daphne Public Works issues, such as downed trees in streets, please call our automated service line at 251-620-2100 to create a ticket and activate dispatch.

Baldwin County Coliseum in Robertsdale, Alabama, serves as an official emergency storm and evacuation shelter. The shelter is located at 19477 Fairground Road, Robertsdale.

Please note that service requests and emergency responses submitted or commented on via social media cannot be processed.

4. After-hours escalation
5. Photos can be added to the service request

On Monday night, August 3, 2026, during the City Council meeting, the 2026–2027 Daphne Junior City Council was officially sworn in! 🎉 Congratulations to the following new members:

Emery Capstraw, Lakyn Coggin, Sloane Dyess, Anna Grace Goffinet, Brielynn Green, Amber Lue, Schuyler Smith, Aveline Sturzu, and Emma West!

Congratulations to this outstanding group of young leaders! We look forward to seeing the ideas, enthusiasm, and dedication they'll bring as they serve our community! 👏

On Wednesday, April 8, 2026, the Junior City Council—along with Mayor Robin LeJeune, Troy Strunk, and City Clerk Cindy Beaudreau—traveled to our state capital! 🏛️✨

The group toured the Alabama Department of Archives and History, the Supreme Court, and the Alabama State House—all graciously arranged by State Rep. Matt Simpson!

While at the Alabama State House, the group viewed the session in action and was present for a vote! Representative Matt Simpson acknowledged our Junior City Council prior to the vote and personally gave the group a tour of the State House! 👏🇺🇸
