Daphne Fire Department

10/21/2026

All good things must come to an end and so did our inaugural Daphne Fire Citizens Academy.

We have met on Tuesday evenings at 6:00pm until 8:30pm for the past six weeks.

There were a total of 12 participants that gave up their Tuesday evenings to come learn about their local fire department and experience firsthand what we do.

We commend their dedication and commitment and consider them part of the Daphne Fire family.

Huge thank you to Todd Posey with 1-800-BOARDUP for cooking dinner for all of our on duty crews, multiple police departments training at station 1 and our citizens academy participants this evening.

Dinner was great and we all enjoyed a time of fellowship.

Thank you for all of your consistent support and please know you are always welcome to stop by with or without food.

As our celebrations for National Fire Prevention Week 2026 wraps up, we wanted to take a moment to recognize all of our firefighters who continuously answer the call! 🚒

From different backgrounds and careers, they each found their way to the fire service — and continue to serve our community every day. Thank you for all you do!
