I've always wanted to be a dispatcher, helping someone in their time of need and being involved with the first responders, making sure they are getting what they need.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐣𝐨𝐛?
Being involved with our first responders and helping people.

𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬.
My teammates are my family. We spend more time with each other than our own family.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐲 𝐄𝟗𝟏𝟏 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐝𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐬?
We are trying our best to help everyone get the best and fastest possible help. Yes, sometimes it does get a little fast paced, but our job is to be there and listen to the person on the other line and understand what they are needing and how to help them. We are taking phone calls, sending out help, and listening to our radios all at the same time.

𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐨 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞.
I like spending time with family. Family is very important to me.

In the wake of the tragic line-of-duty death of Officer Christopher DeLong and the injury of Officer David Dymock, many members of our community have asked how they can support our officers and their families.

For those wishing to contribute, donations may be made through Serve & Connect’s official Tragedy Response Program. This program provides support to law enforcement families and agencies following critical incidents and line-of-duty tragedies.

We are deeply grateful for the prayers, messages, acts of kindness and support extended to the Columbia Police Department during this incredibly difficult time.

Thank you for standing with the CPD family and honoring those who serve and sacrifice.
