DARLINGTON - The music of the Elvis will be performed live and onstage at the Driver Opera House, 250 Main Street, Darlington, on Saturday, October 17 at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.
“I don't consider what I do to be an impersonation or an imitation; rather, it’s a personal tribute and a celebration of his incredible music and his enduring legacy,” shares Logan Ramey.
He is an inspired fan who has made it his lifelong legacy to professionally perform as Elvis Presley, the King of Rock and Roll.
“My journey with Elvis started early,” he shares. “I discovered his music when I was around three years old, constantly dressing up and mimicking his performances. By the time I was ten, I entered my first tribute contest. I turned 22 earlier this year. What started as a childhood passion has blossomed into my full-time career, and I've been performing professionally for about seven years now.”
Earlier this year, Logan Ramey was a Qualifier for the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist World Championship, and was inducted in the International Elvis Tribute Artist Hall of Fame in 2023, marking a major milestone in his career. He brings his love of Elvis’ music to the stage in a heartfelt and authentic tribute.
“My biggest inspiration is, of course, Elvis,” Ramey says. “He truly was larger than life, one of a kind, with no one else quite like him, yet he always remained humble and never forgot where he came from. In addition to Elvis, my inspiration comes from my wonderful supporters and the fans I meet along the way. They are the people who inspire me every single day.”
Based in Beach Park, Illinois, living on the Illinois-Wisconsin border, Ramey isn’t traveling too far from home, as he enjoys his life in the Midwest. He likes to travel, and has found fulfillment in performing at some of the largest places.
“This journey has taken me to incredible stages across the country, including Branson, Pigeon Forge, and Nashville,” he shares. “I'm on track for roughly 150 shows this year alone.”
Logan Ramey is an award-winning entertainer who is looking forward to meeting with guests after the show. His personal tribute to Elvis will be performed in Darlington for the first time.
“While I often perform with a full band, my upcoming performance in Darlington will be my solo act,” he says. “It’s an intimate, up-close experience that lets me connect even more directly with the audience, and I couldn't be more excited for my first time performing there. I am looking forward to the meet-and-greet after the show to say ‘hello’ and take photos with everyone.”
For those attending, there will be a full merchandise table featuring T-shirts, CDs, photos, hats, and other promotional items.
Guests to the event can expect nonstop entertainment throughout the evening. Tickets are available at the door for Saturday’s performance of Logan Ramey’s ‘Tribute to Elvis’ performance at the Driver Opera House.
