The Village of South Wayne is issuing a precautionary boil water advisory following an issue with a water main break.

Until further notice, residents and businesses served by the Village's water system should:

**Bring tap water to a rolling boil for at least ONE MINUTE before using it for drinking, cooking, food preparation or brushing teeth.

**Used boiled or commercially bottled water for drinking, cooking, food preparation and brushing teeth, including making ice.

**Avoid using unboiled tap water for dishwashing or other activities where water may be ingested.

The Village is working with the WI DNR to complete necessary water testing.

The advisory will remain in effect until testing confirms the water is safe and the Village announces the advisory has been lifted. Updates will be provided when available.

We have taken more than one report from residents.

They report receiving phone calls from this office as a courtesy call that they were scheduled to appear for jury duty this morning and there will be consequences for their non-appearance.

Those calls are not coming from this office. If you are scheduled for jury duty the correspondence for that duty is initiated by mail and you will have been informed.
