💀🚔 Our Boo Crew is on patrol! 🚔💀

Officers will be out and about tonight keeping an eye on all the little ghosts and goblins making their way through the neighborhoods.

A few friendly reminders from your not-so-scary neighborhood police department:

🎃 Stick to well-lit areas and carry a flashlight or glow stick.
🎃 Stay with a trusted adult, or a group, and never wander off alone.
🎃 Look both ways and make sure traffic has stopped before crossing the street.
🎃 Stay on sidewalks whenever possible.
🎃 Drivers: Slow down, stay alert, and watch carefully for trick-or-treaters. (Put those phones DOWN!)
🎃 Have an adult inspect candy before digging in.

Lastly…
Another very important reminder for the adults.

Don't forget to collect your candy tax!! Peanut butter cups are usually the highest value.
We don’t make the rules. 🤷‍♂️🤷🏻‍♀️

Be safe and have fun!!
Happy Halloween from the Dartmouth Police Department!! 🎃 👻

We're excited to be teaming up with our friends at City of New Bedford Police Department (Official) for a great night supporting Special Olympics Massachusetts!!

Come visit us, grab some food (don't forget those rolls and cinnamon butter 😍), and help support an incredible cause.

We hope to see you all there!
👮‍♂️👮‍♀️🫶

Join members of the NBPD and the Dartmouth Police Department on Thursday, Sept. 24, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Texas Roadhouse in Dartmouth for a great night supporting Special Olympics Massachusetts!

Our officers will be trading patrol duties for serving duties as “celebrity waiters,” working alongside the Texas Roadhouse team to help collect donations and raise awareness for Special Olympics athletes.

Even better, Texas Roadhouse will donate 10% of food sales between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. to Special Olympics Massachusetts.

Special Olympics Massachusetts provides year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, and your support helps athletes right here in our communities.

Come out, enjoy a great meal, say hello to our officers, and help us support an outstanding cause! We hope to see you there!
