Do you love history? Archives? Museums? What to learn about them all in one place! Check out the Archives Fair this Saturday at The Putnam from 1-4pm!

The Archives Fair will be full of tables showcasing our unique archives, libraries, and museums from across the Quad Cities. Visit tables to learn about the specialized collections housed at these organizations. In addition to visiting this wonderful Quad Cities museum, there will be a special guest speaker from their staff. You may even win a door prize of swag from local history organizations!

ATTENTION ALL LIBBY USERS! Beginning October 12, 2026, you’ll need to enter your library card PIN when signing in to the Libby app, in addition to your library card barcode number. We've tried our best to anticipate FAQs with answers below.

What is my PIN?
Your PIN is the same PIN or passcode you use to sign in to The Library’s online catalog to view due dates, holds, and more. If you’ve never changed it, your default PIN should be the last four digits of your library card number.

My default PIN didn’t work. What should I do?
Please contact The Library at (563) 326-7832 or [email protected]. We’ll be happy to help!

Why is a PIN now required?
OverDrive, the company that owns the Libby app, is requiring PINs to provide users with an additional layer of security.
