CONGRATULATIONS to all of the 2022 1L Feinrider competitors, new mooties, and champions! And a very special congratulations to our Feinrider Champion, Brandee Permenter, and our Feinrider Runner-Up, Nicholas Carryl!

It was a wonderful weekend of advocacy here at the law school and it was our distinct pleasure to welcome everyone back to our campus. Many thanks to our incredible final panel, and all of our amazing volunteer judges that visited us throughout this past weekend. As we head into our Zoom accommodation rounds tomorrow evening, we are so excited to finalize the new class of Moot Court members! As we head into the weekend of our 1L Feinrider Competition, we have much to celebrate! Our ABA Team rounded out yesterdays national rounds as the #2 ranked team in the country and advanced to the National Octofinal Round. Wishing Kelly, Jordan, and Jonathan all the best as they continue to compete today!

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR REGIONAL CHAMPION ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition Team, Kelly O'Neil (3L), Jonathan Bornstein (3L), Jordan Stein (2L), and Coach Professor Heather Baxter!

After three intense days of competition, the competitors advanced to the Regional Finals and ultimately received a unanimous decision from the judges, propelling the team to the National Finals in April! Out of the 178 teams to compete nationally, this is just one of 24 teams to reach the National Finals! We are so proud of these advocates and we cannot wait to see all that they continue to accomplish under the guidance of such an incredible coach. Go Team!
