How sick is our democracy today? “Unfortunately, it’s pretty sick by multiple measures,” says USC Price Assistant Professor and Center for Inclusive Democracy director Mindy Romero.
Romero is co-leading By the People, For the People, a national initiative to rebuild trust in democracy.
At the heart of the plan is a People’s Assembly in Washington, D.C., where citizen delegates will create a roadmap of reforms to strengthen participation and representation.
