We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to CASA de ESPAÑOL, a gold sponsor of the MME Auction. The award-winning Spanish language school and cultural center in Sacramento is dedicated to sharing language and culture in a holistic and immersive environment.

The organization offers Spanish classes for kids, teens, and adults, guided trips to Spanish-speaking countries, educational cultural events, cooking classes, art workshops, and much more. Did we mention one of MME parents' favorite programs…Spanish summer camps?! That’s right, you can say goodbye to the summer homework battles with this fun and engaging Spanish immersion camp. The 3-week camp session is designed to help your student avoid the summer slide. We promise you won’t want to wait to register - check out this year’s camp dates and themes here:

Spanish Summer Camps in Sacramento! Kids will learn Spanish in a fun and engaging environment while being immersed in the cultures of Latin America and Spain.

GET YOUR TICKETS – VIVA MONTGOMERY!
Montgomery Elementary School’s Annual Auction is almost here Saturday, February 28th and we can’t wait to celebrate an unforgettable night with our MME community!

Tickets Are Selling Fast — Don’t Miss Out!
If you haven’t purchased your tickets yet, now is the time! They are going quickly, and we don’t want anyone to miss out on the biggest, most exciting event of the year. Buy your tickets here:
https://mmepta.schoolauction.net/vivamontgomery/homepages/show

If you can’t attend, you can still make a meaningful impact by sponsoring a teacher or staff member. It’s a wonderful way to show appreciation and ensure our amazing team can join the fun.

Raffle Tickets Needed — Help Us Hit Our Goal!
Raffle sales are a major part of our fundraising success, and this year we truly need everyone’s support. Whether you buy a few tickets or a whole bundle, every raffle ticket helps our school directly.

We Still Need Donations — Every Item Helps!
We’re putting together our silent auction and raffle baskets, and we’re still hoping for more contributions from families. Even small items make a big difference when combined into themed packages.

We are especially looking for:
- Bottles of wine
- Gift cards of any amount
- Candles and home items
- Gourmet treats and snacks
- Any new/unused giftable items for raffle baskets
- Experiences, services, or special opportunities (handyman hours, spa services, golf lessons, vacation homes, sports tickets, etc.)

Your donations help us create exciting packages that drive bids — which directly supports our students, teachers, and programs.
If you or someone you know can contribute any item or experience, we would love to hear from you!

Good morning MME families!

We wanted to send an update about the Welcome Back Fiesta tomorrow, from 4-6 p.m. We've moved the event indoors due to the forecasted heat, so everyone can enjoy the event in our air conditioned MPR!

We'll have food truck options and Kona Ice available for purchase, with covered seating at our lunch tables located right behind the MPR.

There will be crafts for the kids, booths to learn more about our PTA programs and community resources. Plus the opportunity to mingle with other school families, pick up your student's FREE MME t-shirt and find your student's classroom.

For families bringing bikes to the event, The Bike Campaign will be providing bike inspections, fitting helmets, adjusting seat height and more. And Girl Scout Troop 11 is collecting supplies for Empower Yolo (wishlist: empoweryolo.org/wish-list/)
We hope you can join us to beat the heat and celebrate the start of the school year together!
