The book sales at the library are back!

These are the genres and subjects that will be offered at the sale on
FRIDAY, MARCH 5, 9AM TO 3PM
Art, Music & Photography
Literature
Religion & Philosophy
Vintage
Romance
Children & Young Adult
Mysteries & Thrillers
Science Fiction & Fantasy
Better Books
CDs/DVDs

The sales will occur weekly on Fridays from 9am to 3pm in the parking lot of the library at 315 E. 14th St. in Davis (click on the location tag above).

Although these sales will offer a smaller and more limited selection of books compared to previous sales, the quality and prices of the books will still be excellent! Some book genres and subjects will change weekly. See details at https://davislibraryfriends.org/

The Friends respectfully request the following of all attendees:
Patrons six years of age and older must wear a face mask. Attendees must practice safe distancing of at least six feet. Masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer will be available upon request. The use of credit or debit cards as forms of contact-less payment is preferred and using them will be much appreciated by the Friends staff! While the cancelation of our book sale last Friday was disappointing, we are excited to announce that our sale this week will be back on! On Friday, August 14, we will have the following subjects available:

As we’re looking toward summer, it’s clear we will be unable to hold our June book sale. Yolo County’s guidelines have limited our capacity for book donations and volunteers, so we remain thankful for your continued membership and will update you with future changes as they come.

As many of you may know, the county has canceled all non-essential programs. through the end of the month to minimize the spread of COVID-19. While this does not as of yet extend through our planned April book sale, we are anticipating that the library and its rooms may not be accessible to us and are canceling the book sale. Our next scheduled sale is set for June 5, 6, and 7, and we hope to see you then.
