โจ Thank you to everyone who donated to Central Park Gardens during our Big Day of Giving campaign! Collectively, we were able to exceed our goal and raise $10,401 from 38 donors! ๐ค
Thanks to your support, our garden will continue to provide a beautiful and diverse place of learning, peace, and joy for all. Your donation makes it possible for Central Park Gardens to invest in the tools, plants, signage, irrigation, and program supplies to keep the garden thriving into the future. Weโre especially excited this year to be able to rehabilitate our kiosks with beautiful new ceramic signage by local artist Susan Shelton. ๐ฑ๐ช

๐ฉโ๐พ Meet Marina, bringing fresh energy to the gardens! ๐ฟ
Marina started volunteering with Central Park Gardens in 2022 hoping to learn more about gardening and get involved with the Davis community after the pandemic. After several years of regularly volunteering, she joined the board as Secretary in 2025. ๐ค
๐ฌโItโs such a unique opportunity to be part of a project like this, not every city has an oasis in the middle of downtown. Itโs a real community led garden and Iโm so grateful I get to work with the other volunteers and board members who help keep this going. What better way meet your neighbors than pruning roses together.โ ๐
๐Thank you, Marina, for all your enthusiasm and supporting the gardens!ย

What a great clean up day at CPG! The rain, conditions and the holidays have meant we haven't been in the garden recently for all our regular every two weeks volunteer sessions. This wonderful crew of volunteers weeded, pruned, raked and installed drip irrigation on a bright, sunny, crisp winter morning. So thankful for our volunteers!๐๐๐
