🚗 If you're traveling through Davis or heading through the intersection, please SLOW DOWN, STAY ALERT, and WATCH FOR OUR FIREFIGHTERS!

🔥 BURN BAN IN EFFECT — EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY 🔥

Due to elevated fire risk caused by high winds and dry conditions, a burn ban is now in effect for the City of Davis, Turner Falls Park, and Cross Bar Ranch from August 25 through August 31, 2026.

🚫 NO OPEN FLAMES OR CHARCOAL GRILLING
✅ Propane grilling is allowed.

🚫 NO WELDING WITHOUT AN ADEQUATE WATER SOURCE PRESENT

Please help protect our community, homes, businesses, parks, and surrounding areas. One spark can start a wildfire.

Friday, 2-27-26, We will be conducting a large prescription burn south of Butterly loop. A portion of the burn will be close to the Butterly loop campground so we will have access blocked for the day Butterly will be accessable the next day. The Sycamore camp area will remain open.

Even though we are not currently under a burn ban, we kindly ask everyone to postpone any activities that could potentially spark a wildfire.

Conditions remain dry, and it only takes one spark to cause serious damage to property, livestock, and our community.

Please use extreme caution and help us keep Murray County safe.

Near critical to critical fire weather danger continues today and Thursday. Fire weather conditions will expand eastward across a larger part of Oklahoma as high winds combine with low humidity across most of the state. A Red Flag Warning is in effect again today.

Please continue to postpone any burning or activities that could spark a wildfire.
