Still smiling over these block party photos.

To everyone who came out, set up a booth, brought a car, performed, grabbed something to eat, or helped make the day happen: thank you. Seeing our neighbors come together means a lot to us!!

Now we’re taking suggestions. What would you like to see here next?

A night market? Live music? A maker fair? Something for the kids? Tell us your idea in the comments. We have the space, and apparently you all know how to fill it.

a couple months ago, went over to Carillon Historical Park specifically to find the pieces of the Davis-Linden Buildings history thatt they have on display.

Seeing the Davis Sewing Machine as a whole and then the pieces and the Huffy bicycles in person hits a little differently when you spend almost every day inside the building where so much of that history happened..

It’s easy to look at Davis-Linden as the building it is today, but there are generations of Dayton history behind these walls.

If you haven’t been to Carillon Historical Park, there is SO much Dayton history packed in there. Highly Suggest a visit !

A great night at Hewitt.

We had a great turnout for the Dieringer Development Group Dayton block party on September 12. It was a chance to bring people together, enjoy some live music, and celebrate the creative energy growing around Hewitt.

Thanks to everyone who came out and helped make it a great evening.
