Columbus, you showed up! 💜

What a day for our first Walk for Epilepsy in Columbus! We started with rain, then the clouds cleared, the sun came out, and whew… it got HOT! ☀️😂 But none of it stopped this community from showing up, walking together, and making today something truly special.

A huge thank you to our sponsors Neurelis, Jazz Pharmaceuticals, and Acadia Pharmaceuticals for supporting our mission and helping make today possible.

We were also honored to have our National CEO, Bee Lee,join us for this special day.

And Columbus, the community support was REAL! 💜💛 We were joined by the men of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., including the Iota Psi Alumni Association, Iota Psi Chapter at The Ohio State University, and the local Eta Nu Nu Graduate Chapter. Keeping the energy going throughout the afternoon was our DJ from the Mu Iota Graduate Chapter, and Coach Cee! 🎶

Thank you to the Epilepsy Foundation Ohio Board, our volunteers, vendors, community partners, families, friends, and supporters.

But most importantly, THANK YOU to every single person who came out today. Whether you walked because you live with epilepsy, love someone who does, remembered someone special, or simply wanted to stand with this community, you are the reason we do this.

110 people registered for our very first Columbus Walk for Epilepsy. 🥹💜

And if you took pictures today, please share them and tag Epilepsy Foundation Ohio! 📸💜 We would love to see the walk through your eyes and celebrate the memories you captured with us.

Columbus, I think we started something today. 💜
