TOWN OF DEKALB HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT HIRING ANNOUNCEMENT

The Town of Dekalb Highway department is looking to hire a full time MEO. Minimum qualifications are class B CDL, mechanical abilities and experience operating heavy equipment.

The Application can be picked up and dropped off at the Town Clerk's office, located at 2907 CR 17 Dekalb Junction NY 13630 or the highway town barn, located at 2810 ST HWY 812, Dekalb Junction NY 13630.

**THERE IS NO ROADSIDE PICK UP**
YOU MUST BRING IT TO THE TOWN BARN

Items may be brought to the town barn on SH 812
Thursday, May 7 th , 2026 from 8 am to 4 pm and
Saturday, May 9 th , 2026 from 8 am to noon
TOWN OF DE KALB RESIDENTS ONLY

This is not for household garbage. If it fits into a trash bag, give it to your regular garbage man.

NO MATTRESSES, CARDBOARD, PAINT,
CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS, LAWN WASTE

Please separate electronics and metal.
Two (2) tires off rims per household.

REMINDER…

METAL CAN BE PUT IN LARGE CONTAINER ANY TIME.
LAWN WASTE CAN BE ADDED TO THE COMPOST PILE BEHIND THE

TOWN BARN ANY TIME.
