🌻 Meet Carly Knowles, our newly elected Main Street DeFuniak Springs Board Secretary and Farmers Market host!

As a market vendor herself, Carly knows the hard work and heart that go into running a small business. She brings that perspective—and a passion for connecting people—to both of these roles. 💚

🌻Meet Your Market Host! 🌻

Hi everyone! My name is Carly, and I'm excited to introduce myself as the host of the Main Street DeFuniak Springs Farmers Market!

A little about me! I'm currently finishing up my degree in business, and I have a passion for small businesses, community involvement, and bringing people together. I also currently serve as the Board Secretary for Main Street DeFuniak Springs, where I get to be involved in supporting our downtown community and local businesses.

One thing that makes this role especially meaningful to me is that I'm a market vendor myself! I understand firsthand the time, hard work, and dedication that go into running a small business and setting up at a market each week. Being on both sides gives me a unique perspective, and I want our vendors to know they have someone who understands their experiences and is genuinely invested in helping them succeed.

My goal is to make our Farmers Market more than just a place to shop. I want it to be a place where families spend their Saturday mornings, neighbors catch up, and small businesses have the opportunity to grow.

I'm always looking for new ideas, fun events, and ways to make our market better for both our vendors and our community!

Whether you're a longtime market regular, a fellow vendor, or someone who hasn't visited us yet, I'd love to meet you! If you see me out at the market, please come say hi! 💚

As Cami faces cancer, she is hoping to receive care closer to home, surrounded by the people she loves. Please read the post below, and if you have a connection that might help her family explore her care options, reach out to Cami’s Warriors.

We ask our community to keep Cami and her family close in prayer—for strength through the hardest days, comfort in the uncertain moments, and more precious time together.

CAMI NEEDS OUR HELP

Cami has been receiving Insulin Potentiation Therapy (IPT) in Mexico, and her recent bloodwork has shown encouraging results. She wants to continue pursuing this treatment, but she wants to do it closer to home, where she can be surrounded by her family.

We are searching for an oncologist in the southeast, preferably somewhere only 2-3 hours from her home in Westville, willing to prescribe and order the chemotherapy medications needed for IPT, along with a qualified medical professional willing to administer them. Her current doctor can provide the dosages needed.

Cami shouldn't have to travel to another country just to explore her treatment options while precious time with her family slips away.

She's fighting for her life, but she's also fighting for the chance to be home with the people she loves.

Please share. Somewhere, someone knows a physician willing to hear her story and help her explore her options.

We’re wrapping up our Witch’s W**e Walk business spotlights with the place where we’ll all come back together at the end of the night — Last Stop Brew Vault , joined by Chautauqua Vineyards and W**ery!

After you’ve sipped, shopped, and strolled your way through Downtown DeFuniak Springs, start making your way back to Last Stop around 8:00 PM. Grab a seat on the patio, enjoy a final taste with Chautauqua W**ery, and get those raffle tickets ready!
