The Foundation was grateful for the ability to step in to meet this need for our students!! Thank you to our loyal donors who made this possible!

DECATUR DIAMOND: Shelby Sasser, Executive Director of the Decatur City Schools Foundation was recognized during Tuesday night's Board of Education meeting. Mrs. Sasser identified and secured a grant to fund after-school tutors for our students. We appreciate Mrs. Sasser for all she does for DCS!

We are so proud of George and Matthew! 🇺🇸

🇺🇸 From Decatur to our nation’s service academies!

What a proud Decatur City Schools moment!

Decatur High School Class of 2026 graduates George Youngblood and Matthew Kimmett reunited at the Air Force vs. Navy football game.

George is attending the United States Air Force Academy, while Matthew is attending the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis. Though they may have been cheering for opposite sides, they will always share their Red Raider roots! ❤️🖤

We are incredibly proud to see these two young men representing Decatur City Schools — and our community — on a national stage.

From Decatur, Alabama, to service across our nation… DCS is representing nationwide! 🇺🇸
