HEARTLAND CASA IS ON THE MOVE — MAKING CONNECTIONS IN MOULTRIE COUNTY!

Our Heartland CASA crew has been having a great time getting to know Moultrie County, and now we’re taking the fun to Jet’s Diner in Sullivan for a special evening!

Jet’s is a Sullivan hometown favorite, and on Wednesday, October 21st, from 5:00–8:00 PM, they’re opening their doors after hours for a special evening with Heartland CASA and Moultrie County DOVE, Inc. If you haven’t experienced Jet’s yet, come give it a try!
Wherever you’re from, it’s just a short trip to Jet’s — come enjoy dinner, good food, fun and conversation, AND play some After Hours Trivia at your table for a chance to win fun prizes!
You’ll also get to meet and greet the Heartland CASA staff and some of our newest Moultrie County volunteers, including Becky Comstock, Moultrie County Domestic Violence Coordinator for Moultrie County DOVE, Inc. We are so excited about this evening and look forward to introducing more people to the work being done right here in Moultrie County to support children and families.
Heartland CASA serves children involved in the child welfare system in Macon, DeWitt, Christian and Moultrie Counties, providing trained volunteers who show up for children, listen to their voices and advocate for their best interests. As we continue growing our presence in Moultrie County, we’re getting ready for our next two CASA training classes. There are children in Moultrie County’s child welfare system who need someone willing to show up for them — someone who will listen, advocate and be a consistent person in their life.

Moultrie County CASA Training Classes:
🔴 Tuesday evenings: October 27–December 1 | 5p–8p
🔴 Wednesday daytime: October 28–December 2 | 11a–2p
🔴 Sullivan First United Methodist Church

So come enjoy Jet’s After Hours with us. Have dinner, play some trivia, meet some great people and get to know a little more about Heartland CASA and Moultrie County DOVE, Inc. — and why showing up matters for vulnerable children and families in your community.

And we have a winner! 🔥

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who participated in our fire pit raffle at Chili Fest! Your support means so much to Heartland CASA and helps further our mission of advocating for children who have experienced abuse or neglect, ensuring their voices are heard and their best interests are represented. ❤️

A special thank you to Lowe’s for generously donating the fire pit, and to all of the ChilliFest volunteers who worked so hard to make this year’s event such an amazing success!

🎉 Congratulations to Danette of Taylorville, our fire pit raffle winner! We hope you enjoy many cozy evenings around your new fire pit. 🔥

Every raffle ticket, every volunteer, and every show of community support helps CASA continue making a difference for children who need a strong, caring voice in their corner.

Thank you for a wonderful Chili Fest! 🌶️❤️ We’re already looking forward to next year!
