🛑 Pump the Brakes on Illegal Tire Dumping!

Dumped tires aren't just an eyesore. They collect standing water, attract mosquitoes, and pose serious fire and health hazards to our neighborhoods.

The Department of Solid Waste Management's Beautification Services works year-round to identify and remove illegally dumped tires, but we need your help!

See illegally dumped tires? Report them!

Help keep DeKalb clean by reporting tires illegally dumped on public property or public rights-of-way.

Together, we can keep DeKalb clean, safe, and beautiful!

Keep DeKalb beautiful, one bag at a time!
Trash and bulky items belong in a bin or at a proper disposal site, not in a vacant lot, or along our streets and waterways. Illegal dumping and littering create health and safety hazards for the whole community.

Do your part, dispose of items properly and help keep Dekalb County clean and green!

A New Fire Station Begins with a Strong Foundation!

DeKalb County recently broke ground on the new $10.5 million Fire Station No. 5 in Tucker, and our Beautification Unit was there before the shovels hit the dirt.

The new two-story, 14,600 square foot facility at 4329 Cowan Road will replace one of DeKalb County's oldest fire stations, built in 1955 on Lawrenceville Highway.

Designed with firefighter health and wellness in mind, the new station will include individual sleeping quarters, a workout room, a commercial grade kitchen, and a multipurpose community room.

For our team, this was more than site prep, it was a chance to help lay the groundwork for the firefighters who protect our community every day.
