🚜 HARVEST SEASON SAFETY 🚒

It’s that time of year again when our farmers are out harvesting their crops. With large farm machinery on the roads, we encourage everyone to use extra caution when approaching and passing farm equipment.

Please slow down, give them plenty of room, and be patient. Farm machinery can be large, slow-moving, and difficult to maneuver, but they are an important part of our community.

Let’s all do our part to make sure everyone gets home safely this harvest season! 🌾

Stay safe and watch for farm equipment!

🚒🏐 Ayersville Homecoming Kickoff! 🎉
Last night, South Richland Fire and Rescue, along with Highland Township Fire and Rescue, was proud to assist with the kickoff week festivities for Ayersville High School Homecoming!
Following the volleyball game, the student body, Ayersville Band, and Cheerleaders paraded through Ayersville and made their way down to the Highland Township Ayersville Fire Department for a bonfire and pizza.
We hope everyone has a fun and memorable Homecoming Week! We’re proud to be part of such a great community and to support our students.
A special thank you to the staff at Ayersville High School and Highland Township Fire Department for having us and helping make the evening a success! Have a great Homecoming Week, Ayersville! 💙💛

Thank you to the Defiance VFW Post for the generous donation to our department. We appreciate the support that the community gives to the local fire departments. This donation will be utilized to send members to various trainings to keep our members skills sharp and provide the best care to our community when we are called upon. Pictured are Fire Chief Paul Seibert, EMS Chief Tyler Coffman and Defiance VFW Post Commander Jason Shaffer.

Thank you Tinora Local Schools for loaning us a bus for our evening training. We reviewed the emergency exits on the bus and table topped a EMS scenario where the bus was involved in a motor vehicle accident.
