Good morning, Bulldog families! 💙🐾🤍

When even our Bulldog pack has the binoculars out and still can’t spot the end of the driveway, you know this heavy fog isn't playing around! 🌫️👀

Because the morning commute is heavily impacted and safety always comes first for our students, drivers, and staff, Defiance City Schools will be officially CLOSED today, Wednesday, October 21. 🛑🏫

Did you catch Defiance City Schools on the evening news? 📺🐾💙🤍

13abc Action News stopped by DHS and DMS to spotlight our newest team member, K-9 Sarge, alongside School Resource Officer Adam Kunz! Sarge is already making a huge impact by greeting students, breaking the ice, and providing comfort throughout the school day.

This partnership was made possible thanks to the generous support of VFW Post 3360 and Commander Jason Schaffer, who stepped up with charity funds so our district and police department could welcome Sarge home. That’s Bulldog pride at its best! 🐶🎖️

Roaming the halls of Defiance High School and Middle School is a nine-week old golden retriever puppy named Sarge.

Double the paws, double the praise! 🐾🏆 Huge congratulations to Mrs. Headley’s and Mrs. Renollet’s second-grade classes for tying for the coveted Bark Trophy for the month of September! Both classes crushed it, earning an incredible 32 big dog bones each! 🦴✨ We are so proud of these hard-working Bulldogs for setting such a great example!
