Dear WCREC Members, Club Presidents, and local Republican Leaders,

If you or your team are interested in door knocking or making phone calls on behalf of Congressman Byron Donalds, Senator Ashley Moody, Congressman Jimmy Patronis, Congressman Austin Rogers, or any other candidates on the ballot, please inform me. I will be glad to connect you directly with their respective campaigns.

Our primary focus at this time is to maximize voter turnout in Walton County. Polls open on October 19, two weeks from today.

Thank you for your continued service to our county and our Republican party. We cannot let the opponents gain any ground!

Respectfully,

Mary M. Howard

Hello, Fellow Republicans!

Thank you to everyone who has volunteered to help with our booth at the Walton County Fair (October 12 - October 17)! We currently have Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday covered, but still need a few more volunteers:
One volunteer for Wednesday
Two volunteers for Saturday's daytime shift (this is a great opportunity for a couple to serve)
One additional volunteer for Saturday evening
If you are available to help, please reply with the shift that works best for you. Even a few hours would be a big help!

Thank you for your support!

Dear Republicans,

Last week, the Executive Board* of the Republican Party of Florida voted to endorse all three constitutional amendments passed by both chambers of the state legislature (Supermajority Republican). Please note that Governor DeSantis endorses Amendment 3 and opposes Amendment 1. Constitutional amendments require a 60% majority to pass.

For those who wish to study the amendments further, detailed information from the James Madison Institute is also available here:
https://jamesmadison.org/wp-content/uploads/2026_Amendment_Guide-v02-web-E.pdf

Additional voting information can be found at Votewalton.gov. Please remind everyone to vote on November 3.

*The Executive Board includes all state party officers, the national committeeman and national committeewoman, and the Chair of each of the following State caucuses: Congressional Districts, County Chairs, State Committeemen & Women, and Appointees.

Thank you for being informed voters!

Dear Walton Republicans,

David Jolly left the Republican Party, criticized the party for years on television, and registered as a Democrat to run for governor. He is not a "Republican-lite" candidate; he is running on a clear Democratic platform.

His specific proposals include:

- Guns: Supports an assault-weapons ban, licensing, registration, liability insurance, and background checks covering private and family transfers.
- Abortion: Supports codifying the Roe v. Wade framework into Florida state law.
- Immigration: Proposes suspending 287(g) agreements with ICE under specific conditions and allowing undocumented immigrants without separate criminal offenses to remain.
- Schools: Advocates for increased public school spending and tighter restrictions on voucher programs.
- Insurance: Proposes a catastrophic-fund plan shifting hurricane risk from the private market to the state, which an FSU analysis warns could lead to statewide financial assessments for taxpayers.
- Healthcare: Supports expanding Medicaid and gender intervention for minors.

Additionally, in a recent CBS Miami interview, Jolly stated that he would welcome Kamala Harris campaigning with him in Florida and expressed that she should have won in 2024.

With the August primary concluded, the November 3 general election will determine our state's future. Please remind your contacts that Jolly is not a moderate candidate.

When engaging on social media in support of the Byron Donalds campaign, share these facts clearly. Digital engagement is a crucial tool for voter persuasion. Nearly 20% of Walton County voters are unaffiliated, and their support is valuable for our Republican nominees.

Please encourage turnout and vote on November 3 for Byron Donalds.

In Liberty,

Mary M. Howard
Chair, Walton County Republican Executive Committee
