Anchored4Life Spreads Breast Cancer Awareness!
Our Anchored4Life team at Del Rio Freshman School is making a difference beyond our campus! In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, our Rams and Queens created heartfelt posters to share with local businesses, spreading messages of strength, hope, remembrance, and support for those affected by breast cancer.
This morning, we were excited to welcome Gabby Mata from the Texas Roadhouse who visited with our students and selected two special posters to display at the business: one sharing the message βNobody Fights Aloneβ and another reminding us that βIn October, We Wear Pink!β She also brought coupons, rolls and butter to share with the team, making the visit extra special!
We are proud of our students for using their creativity and leadership to remind our community that no one should have to face breast cancer alone. Thank you to our community partners for helping us spread awareness and hope!
Special thanks to Assistant Principal Amy Rodriguez, DRFS Counselors Alex Menchaca and Dr. Ana Herrera, and DRFS Registrar Ciara Dunning for leading, encouraging and supporting the team.
At Del Rio Freshman School, we believe that TOGETHER, we are STRONGER!
