We are still looking for folks who would like to set up to do Trunk or Treat at the Del Rio Community Halloween Party on October 24th. Just come on down to the Heritage Center about 4pm; the party starts at 5 pm, lasts til 7 pm.

Also looking for folks who would like to bake or provide treats for the families; a hot dog dinner is being provided by the Bear Club!

It's all free, so if you love trick or treaters and never get any at your house, this is a great place to set up and see all the kids!

Remember the other day I was talking about our really good problem of bunches of new books?

Look what the postman brought me!

And there was one more box of cookbooks in the mailbox!

I'm getting the books in as fast as I can; the weather is getting cooler, the days shorter, now is a great time to find some new books to spend your evenings with!

Even the ghost in the dollhouse is looking for books (see our header photo) Even the squirrel is reading!
