🎉 BAM & HPAB CLINIC WRAP-UP: 415 TOTAL PETS FIXED! 🐾💥

What an unbelievable achievement for our community! Border Animal Mission and the extraordinary team at Helping Paws Across Borders (HPAB) joined forces for an incredible four-day clinic, providing 415 animals with free spay and neuter surgeries! We are beyond grateful to HPAB for coming back to Del Rio—working alongside your compassionate, skilled crew is an absolute honor. This massive joint effort was also made possible with support from Operation Pit Stop - Wings of Rescue, and we are so thankful for their partnership in helping us tackle pet overpopulation here in Del Rio. That’s 415 steps toward ending pet overpopulation in our town, and an event of this scale truly takes a village! 🐶🐱

First, a massive thank you to the City of Del Rio Government for providing us with the use of the Chihuahua Center. Having such a wonderful, spacious facility made all the difference in creating a safe and smooth environment for our patients and team. We also owe a huge debt of gratitude to Val Verde County for generously funding the lodging for our visiting HPAB team and providing some meals to keep our vets and volunteers nourished throughout the week. Thank you also to Commissioner Juan Carlos Vazquez Precinct 2 for allowing us to borrow so many tables! To ensure everything ran smoothly and securely, the City of Del Rio Police Department and Val Verde County Sheriff's Office provided increased security, and we are so thankful for their presence and protection!

Behind the scenes, so many thoughtful details made each day run seamlessly. A special shoutout goes to Rescue Wrapped In Love for donating the warm towels you'll see tucked around our patients in all the recovery photos, and to Tiffany, who took on the monumental job of doing laundry for all those towels and blankets every single day to keep our patients cozy!

Finally, we want to send a heartfelt thank you to all of our local food sponsors who kept our team fed, hydrated, and energized, as well as our unbeatable BAM volunteers. To our volunteers who gave their time, energy, and hearts from morning to night—thank you! You are the backbone of everything we do. Thank you, Del Rio, for showing up, loving your pets, and helping us build a brighter, healthier future for our four-legged friends! 🙌❤️
