The mission of the Delanco Township Police Department is to protect the lives and property of those who live and work within Delanco Township, and who visit the Township of Delanco; and to serve the community’s desire for a peaceful and safe existence through the enforcement of the laws and through crime prevention efforts. Every Delanco Township Police Officer is committed to this mission and will make every effort to deliver professional police service with integrity and honesty, and in a manner that respects the rights of all people.

Today, the Delanco Township Police Department pauses to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

We honor the nearly 3,000 innocent lives taken that day and remember the extraordinary courage and sacrifice of the firefighters, law enforcement officers, first responders, military members, and everyday citizens who ran toward danger to help others.

Twenty-five years later, we continue to remember those who never came home, the families who carry their loss, and all whose lives were forever changed.

May we never forget the bravery, unity, and compassion shown in the face of unimaginable tragedy.
