DeLand Middle FFA

Day 1 of the 2026 State FFA Convention was a great one!

OCC advanced from prelims to finals and did an amazing job! We are very proud of Julie, Livia, Ella, Reagan, Zoiee, Madison and Avery's efforts this year.

Prepared Speaking also advanced from prelims and will be competing Tuesday at 8 AM in finals! Good luck Julie!

The announcement of final placings for these contests will be Thursday evening. We cannot wait to see how they did!

We'd also like to shout out to DeLand SR in their competitions as well. A few former Terriers in the group!

Closing out the year with some awesome visitors bringing fun and excitement to the end of the year!

Peyton Roddy visited with our classes and focused on team building and collaboration with her challenge game with the classes. Her excitement for working with the students is phenomenal! She has a bright future as an agriculture teacher! 💙💛

Mia Portillo joined in on the end of the year fun by working with the students to make their sweet treat, ice cream! From being a student enjoying this very same lab, to a leader showing the classes the ropes, this activity was a full circle moment!

We appreciate both of these ladies for visiting with our students and showcasing their passions for agriculture and leadership!
