What did Duanesburg Ambulance do today ... we sent two crews to a training program arranged by Quaker Street Volunteer Fire Company as practical skills for auto extrication and mutiple patient incident managerment.

Thanks to the training driven approach of the fire company the responders from Duanesburg Ambulance had an incredible learning experience.

Our responders never stop learning and practicing to be better prepared to respond to your needs!

YOUR VOICE MATTERS

The Duanesburg Ambulance Board is inviting the community to an important public meeting regarding the 2027 ambulance budget and the significant reduction in funding proposed by the Town of Duanesburg.

The Town’s proposed reduction could have a major impact on the level of ambulance services we are able to provide to our community, including our ability to maintain the coverage our residents have come to rely upon.

This meeting is an opportunity for Duanesburg residents to come together, ask questions, hear the facts, and have an open and respectful discussion about the future of emergency medical services in our community.

Our ambulance service is there when someone in our community has a medical emergency, suffers an accident, or needs immediate help. Decisions about funding can directly affect our ability to provide that service.

We encourage residents to attend, listen, ask questions, and share your thoughts.

This is your community. This is your ambulance service therefor Your voice matters.

A HUGE SUCCESS! National Night Out hosted by the Schenectady Sheriff’s Office was held August 4th at Shafer Park. This was part of a nationwide effort to strengthen partnerships between law enforcement and the communities they serve. The evening included a bouncy bounce, live entertainment, family activities, fireworks after dark, community engagement, and connecting with local public safety agencies. Thank you for visiting our booth and for supporting the Duanesburg Ambulance bake sale!
