People In Need, Inc. Our Mission: Providing relief to our neighbors in their time of need. People In Need, Inc.

of Delaware County Ohio (PIN) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) social services agency dedicated to providing emergency assistance to Delaware County residents since 1981. Beginning as a small pantry in the basement of a local church, PIN today has grown to be the largest food pantry in Delaware County. In 2022, we provided our neighbors in need with 418,000 meals and assisted in Emergency Services which impacted 10,000 individuals. From Mortgage Assistance and Eviction Prevention to Utility Assistance and School Shoes, PIN’s programs are all aimed at helping our neighbors maintain a healthy, quality life during their time of need. The Holiday Clearing House in December has become a staple of the Delaware County community since its pre-PIN founding in 1954. Following astronomical growth in 2020, the program has welcomed 1,000 children every year with toys and gifts, winter coats, meals, and holiday cheer.

A lovely group of volunteers from Columbus State Delaware Campus joined us earlier this month for the Columbus State Community College annual day of service!

The Humane Society of Delaware County is partnering with People In Need, Inc. to offer FREE vaccines for eligible Delaware County families!

Join us Thursday, October 22, from 2–4 PM at People In Need. To qualify, families must have at least one child under 18 living in the home.

Mark your calendars for Thurs., Oct. 22 and join City of Delaware Firefighters for their annual fall fundraiser! All money raised during the event will go to People In Need, Inc.

Delaware… are you ready???

Our fall fundraiser is fast approaching, and we couldn’t be happier to announce our partners for this year. In partnership with Modern Woodman Fraternal Financial, we will be hosting our event at four great downtown Delaware locations! Restoration Brew Worx, our original location, who has been with us from the beginning. Also returning this year are Old Dog Alehouse and The Backstretch! We wanted to grow this event and we think you are going to love it, so new this year we have the famous Opa's Grill and Tavern! All money raised during the event will go to People In Need, Inc.

Stop at any location during this time or all of them! Buy a drink, have a good time, buy some raffle tickets, meet great people, raise money for a great charity. It’s that easy! We hope to see you there!!

Join us from 9am-12pm ✨TOMORROW✨ at People In Need, Inc. for walk-in WIC & Clinic Services! You will be able to certify for the WIC program and load WIC benefits for an existing account.

To certify for WIC please bring the following:
